Understanding corn genetics

I'm just beginning to understand corn genetics and have been thinking about possible scenarios when I thought:

Would a wildtype normal corn and a snow corn provide a good template for making amenalistics and anerythistics?

Could anyone please help me here.

If you breed a wild colour with a snow all of the babies will be normals and carry a copy of each of the genes to make anerythristics and amelanistics. So here's the scenario

2006: breed dogether snow and normal, retain a male and a female baby.

2009: breed together those 2 babies and you can expect normals, amelanistics, anerythristics and snows (anery and amel) to result from this pairing.

That's a VERY simplified explination.

This is a very clear explanation !!
What is the reason you want to produce amel and anery starting with a snow and normal and go for this long way while they are offered a lot ? :crazy02:
