Unwanted hatchlings

Do any of you have a king (or other) snake that you feed defective or unwanted hatchlings to?
I've seen this practice mentioned before and am curious if anyone does this.

I had a snake recently that was a non eater and had a kink by the tail. I gave her to a friend of mine to try and see if she could get it going. She is one those old time herpers, if she can not get it eating, no one can. But kinked or defective snakes, well that is up to you but I tend to give them away as pets to people. If they live, fantastic, if they don't it happens.
