Fuhgeddaboudit!!!!
As per Nanci's suggestion, as I originally posted this in the "Hell" subforum for a lack of a better place.

However, she does have a point, since it's NOT for mature audiences only, though it's totally off-topic. This was initially in response to several pm's requesting that I share such material. In any event, I hope everyone who views it enjoys it thoroughly!!

Enjoy!!!

BTW - An inspirational quote we had emblazoned on our jump club t-shirts!!

"20 years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bow lines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

Nice Axis! Thanks an upbeat start to my day!

No thanx necessary Dollysmom! But I must say it doesn't take much to please you! (Where have you been all my life?). :santa:

Actually, these are some awesome clips and if you let the next ones play on their own, you might be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the next few clips in the compilation series!!

Lol Axis. Finding joy in little things is, in my way of thinking, the secret of life.

I'll check out those other clips. I think I can make a few more mornings out of this, lol :D

I watched a little bit of it but my vertigo kept kicking in during it !! LOL
Weird how watching something on a screen does that ??

Glad your living life to the fullest as you and all of us should be !!

The video seems to have been removed, but I saw that on the local news this morning. So glad he didn't miss. Pretty scary. While he can minimize risk, he can't eliminate it.

Wow! Thanx for telling me they removed it. Don't know why since it's all over the internet. But it WAS pretty awesome! Not to mention inspiring, as most people who are the FIRST to do something are. Don't know how many can follow that act even THIS century!!! The guy landed in a net 1/3 the size of a football field from a height of 25,000 feet, which is almost TWICE the height I jump from regularly (13,500-14,500 feet). Any slight tumble or if one of his arms or legs (or even his NECK!) was turned SLIGHTLY the wrong way, and the laws of physics would have ensured he would have missed that target by a half-a-mile!!! He had to land EXACTLY the way he did to have prevented NOT breaking his neck or any of the other 200+ bones that are in the human body!!! THAT is totally AMAZING!!!!

Don't know if I would have done that with a wife and small child also. In that sense, he IS kind of a dick. Just sayin'. :eek1:

Watched all of that one !! WOW !!! It was the first video that made me woozy haha.

And can't argue with your last statement. For sure!

Nice! My friend just got her A license last week and posted some cool vid's of herself. Looks super fun and makes me contemplate it, but I don't think I have the time/money to keep up with that hobby! (I have too many hobbies as it is haha). I tried twice last year for tandem, but it was too windy both days. Friends and I will be trying again in September.

Whoa!!! When you DO make your first tandem, lemme know what you think!! You just MAY get bitten by the bug!!! But why wait till then? You're actually missing the best part of the season (NOW)! for jumping!!!

Either way, please update me on what you think! Or if you get some cool pix!!! I'm jumping this weekend and I can't WAIT!! I'm like a kid again when I go skydiving!!!
