My okeetee is the usual corn. Still a little skittish until he's in your hands and will bolt if given the chance.
But my amel (born July 10th) acts more like my cat. During the day he mostly sleeps, but after 4-5pm he's ready to party. I just tap on his glass and he comes quickly out from wherever he is. He will follow my hand along the glass. Once I open the top he'll try to climb up and will when I but my hand half way down he's on. Doesn't matter if he's in any stage of shed, he's the same.
When he's on me he's all over me and won't usually venture far. He will sit for 12 minutes (timed record) with his chin on one finger while I rub his head with another.
Now he'll even eat his F/T mouse on me without any hesitation. Only tried once. In his feeding tub when finished he climbs on my hand when I put it in and I put him back into his tank where I leave him for 48 hours.
I feel really lucky with Cane. I wish all snakes were like him.
