I am looking for a Sanoran Gopher snake. preferably an adult or sub adult male. I am also interested in possibly getting a Speckled Kingsnake.

The Kingsnake part in the title got my attention, then I noticed your in New Mexico too. Where at? Im in Clovis.
I do have a Kingsnake I would part with, but its a Mexican Black Kingsnake.

Alamo, thats cool. A guy I went through the academy is from there. I think he works for the Sheriff's Department down there now.

My MBK "Spooky" is about 1 and 1/2 years old from what I can tell. We got him in early 2009 at the petsmart in Lubbock Tx. As soon as I saw him I had to have him. He is beautiful. I call it a him, but I dont know the sex.

I wouldnt sell him, but we have 4 corns, an albino milksnake and a wild caught bull snake we are just keeping through the winter. Id like to get a couple adult corns and try breeding them, but the wife says no more new ones til we do something with the ones that dont fit into breeding plans. Since Spooky is the only kingsnake we have, he dont fit.

I will have to get my wife to upload newer pics for you, I dont know how to. Spooky is the snake in my avatar. If you are interested, let me know. Im sure we can work something out and you wouldnt have to pay outrageous overnight shipping.

How much are you thinking about for him? i know that petco charges an arm and a leg for their mexican blacks, not sure about petsmart.
Im not sure how much shipping would be from Clovis to Alamogordo.

I will also have to talk to my fiance... she knows i want a king, but she also is the voice of reason, because if were me i would have already outright bought out the local pet store....lol.
 
I know what you mean. I would have a house full of them if I could. "Whats that? Spooky dont fit into breeding plans? We'll get a mate for him, then he will fit into breeding plans..." Somehow, I dont think that will work.

I would like to get $50.00 out of him. We are only 225 miles apart. If you would like to meet half way (roswell) we would work with you. I would want compensated for the gas, but we get about 30 mpg, so no big deal there. I wouldnt ask anything for my time unless we get there and you change your mind without good reason.

I forgot to mention, I havent measured him for length in a while, but I think he is about 57 grams.

yeah, that sounds cool. it may be a couple of weeks before i can get back with you on this, but i am definatly interested. Just the fiance needs to Ok it... we may make it a road trip if we can figure out a day that neither of us has to go to work or college... but once she gets home from class tonight i will talk to her about it.
 
Sounds good. No problems. I definitely understand talking with the fiance. My wifes the one who said no more new snakes for now. Just let me know.

Meanwhile, I'll try to get my wife to post pics when she gets a chance.
