Week 7 and egg denting (normal?)

Well im on week seven and one of my eggs is denting, if i touch it then dent will slowly go away and then it comes back again later? I dont know if it the baby moving or what? But the egg is suppose to dent now right? How much longer do i have?

Actually that can mean two different things, it needs to be sprayed with water or it is getting ready to hatch. In your case I would say it is getting ready to hatch. I wouldn't touch it or anything, just wait. I think it is 3-6 days after they dent in they hatch. Good luck and I hope you get some nice babies!

Thanks Dave, this is my first clutch so im a little anxious. I hope i have pippies soon, so you dont think they need to by plumped back up right? I havent had any trouble my whole incubating period with denting or anything. They have been incubated at 82-84 staying at a average of 83

I'd say leave them as they are...denting can mean nothing. 7 weeks is 49 days and so far my first 3 clutches have gone more than 60 days before hatching and that was at a consistant 83 degrees! I've even had denting after one month and babies still come out perfect! You are on the right track just keep checking them each day until they pip. OH and have fun too...cause this is the most exciting time of the year :)

Yeah i guess its kinda like Christmas :) I cant wait to see little babies but the sooner the better for me, because i am waiting on these guys to hatch so i can move and take them with me. I am anxious to move too.
