Weird egg

Well I'm still waiting for my female to lai her eggs, but last night I found one (just one!!) and I can see the other one's in her. Well it was a slug, but it looked weird :S

Should I be worried about that the other one's haven't been laid yet???

Doesn't she look gravid??

well, you obviously know she's gravid.i'm not going to mention what that egg looks like in public! :grin01: she probably just needs more time to lay the rest, and i wouldn't be too worried about the shape of them. :)

lol :) well this is my first breeding so just wanted to be sure :p but I souldn't worrie about that the rest is still "in there"?? :shrugs:

i think she might need some time to herself. i've read quite a few threads that have mentioned that you should leave your female alone whilst laying. she could get stressed out and eggbound if she doesn't feel safe. you just have to be patient! :)

I just went through this last week, My female laid three duds all of which were outside the box. I put a towel in front of her cage and viola! she spit out the rest of the clutch which all seem to be normal and healthy, I have to go home tonight and remove her from them so I can get em cookin.

but I hva a light in the cage which is set on 12/12 hour cicle. should I keep it on or have it dark in there 24/7?

I was kind of freaked out at first to, but could clearly see she had alot more to produce. You should be fine.
