What Color Morph Is Less Common?

I am getting a butter motley male and a normal striped female corn snakes. Are stripes hard to find? Aren't Butter stripes rarer as the breeder said this pair will produce some butter stripes, carmels, anerys, snows, normals, motleys, and oketees!! He said they are both multi hets. I can't wait but I can't breed them till next year as they are only 18 inches and are still young were born 2007. I am trading him one of my cockatiels for one snake and the mean time he is giving me the other for free for petsitting!! Melissa

The least common one you listed would be butter stripe. When you get the chance I would recommend asking the breeder exactly what they are het for, any possible hets, what pairings they were from, etc.
Congrats on the new additions!

They may still be to young to breed. What the sex.
And if you can get a butter stripe go go for it. Pricey.

The female normal stripe is het for butter and the butter motley he said is het for stripe too. Man I can't wait, I know they aren't breeding size yet he said they still have another year or so unless I power feed. They are 2 years old and should be bigger than 18 inches right? Melissa

There would be no normals since all the hatchlings would be motleys or stripes and both would have to be het anery to produce anerys and snows. Oketees are normals that are line bred for that special look so you might want to find out how far back oketee came into the mix.
I'm not trying to pick apart your snakes or anything. This is just stuff you will want to clarify with the breeder now so you won't be left wondering later on. :)

Thanks You were very helpful and I am not sure how oketee is in the blood lines and I know the grandparents he said are a Motley caramel and the grandmother is a motley anery and both are het for amelanism if that helps I am trying to find out what the parents are and such!! Thanks, Melissa
