im going to start breeding my snakes and i was wondering what all i need for that. if anyone could help me out with what i need. that would be great. thanks

Well, first can you tell me if you are planning to breed the same 2 snakes you bought last August??? There's no way they are old enough or big enough yet.

I'm not being rude, but what you need, and the only thing you need right now, is to purchase Kathy Love and Don Soderberg's books. Read them, twice. Read the breeding sections 3 times. Follow them to the letter. Then, come back here and ask specific questions for clarification. Your questions are virtually impossible to answer right now. :shrugs:

So they are just over a year old, which means you have another two years to wait before you can breed them, as the general guideline for breeding safely is, 3 years old, 3 foot long and most important at least 300grams in weight.

While you're waiting for them to mature, you could invest in a couple of good books, Kathy Love's "Corn snakes, The comprehensive owners guide" and Don Soderberg's "Cornsnakes in captivity", both have a good section on breeding corns. Have a good read of those and if you have any questions or unsure of anything, come back and ask. :)

Hope that helps,

Edited to add, Drizzt80 types faster than me ;)
