There's this very dark spot on the underside of his body, a little past halfway down that is very distinguishable under light. It's harder to make out in the picture, but definitely obvious in person. Just wondering if it's normal (some organ?) or something to be worried about. Thanks.

Just above and left of my finger.

Yep, with the lighter morphs like Amels, you can usually see darker patches where some of the internal organs are, especially from the underneath.

Although in that position, I'd say you're probably looking at its last meal!

Either way, it looks fine to me and pretty much what I'd expect.

Thanks for the info. That's a sigh of relief, although he did go to the bathroom today. Never thought I'd be so happy to see poop. It was 4 days after his first meal so I don't know if that dark spot is his meal or not. Glad to hear it's nothing troublesome.

Not to sound too negative but, 'glad to hear it's nothing troublesome in your oppinion'. I'd keep checking this thread to see if any of the experts have anything to say. Maybe theres a herp vet on here who might chirp in.
Apart from that I wouldn't worry. Sorry if I've made you feel bad again.

Yes, you did. Good riddance!

Kidding of course. I'd like to hear more opinions as well. The more input, the better.

It's probably just the gall bladder. Like was originally stated, on amelanistic morphs you can often see the internal organs through the belly. The gall bladder is the most prominant.
