What Luck!

I dunno . . I just guess it's karmic vibration for the number of young'uns that took it upon themselves to vacate my snake room ["bedroom" in the colloquial] this spring- I have been wracked with angst and guilt over the loss of my babies . . .

. . . but I just got an offer from a rep lover who I started my collection from; he's going to be selling his 2oo3 Serpenco lavendars to me. Liquidate is actually more accurate.

I was offered a male lav from an aquaintence a little while ago and turned it down because I thought it was too expensive but realised a couple of days later how silly I'd been...I've been kicking myself ever since! Well done on your lucky break! Will you breed them this season?

you'd better beleive I am gonna take pics of them- will probably hafta hire a lingerie model [or maybe just a hand/forearm jockey] to properly show them off!

I doubt I will breed them- not having seen them in a while [it may have been the pair I saw about 6 mos ago, and if it was they need more weight to be safe] I would be highly doubtful of just running out and moving them, then breeding them right away. . .

. . . but I think [due to a financial windfall I didn't see coming] that I can actually go get them tonight, and that I might just do!

if that's the case I will be spending some time getting them set up and happy! [and crazily snapping pictures like a proud father should!]

camera isn't cooperating,

let alone the squigglies. .. they're gorgeous and quite placid tonight . . .

. . . when I picked up the male at my buddies' house he took a nice nip- they aren't handled so much as mine.

But tonight they posed quite nicely, even if my camera wasn't cooperating so very much in the autofocus mode ;]

I only have one pic, this one with the female lav and my good friend Jocelyn holding her.

Jocy liked the pic so much she added it to her myspace proflie lol!

Thanks! i promise to have some more pics of them soon, but I went ahead and did a mid-week feeding [I had to underfeed on their regular Thursday since I wasn't sure whateveryone was gonna be doing this week for food. . . thank heaven my buddy stocks a ton of frozen!] so I gotta leave them alone until tomorrow at the earliest!

They really are a couple of beautiful specimens, and I dunno WHAT I did to deserve the break, but hey- I'll take it!
