what size heat pad for a 20 long tank do i need?

since im not getting a heat lamp im gonna get a uth. what size uth would i need for a 20 gallon long tank??

Most UTH will specify what size tanks to be used with. You want one that will cover no more than 1/3 of the floor space

When I got our heat pad they were sized based on the tank size

It says Mini for up to 5 gallons
Small for 10-20 gallons
Medium for 30-40 gallons, etc

Yep just the side that is going to be the warm side.

I have to say because I just went through set up about a week ago, it actually comes together fairly easy once you figure out what plugs into where.

out by me i can have petco specialist setup my tank and bring it home that way. its nice but im gonna do it myself i have to learn somehow.
