hi i have a tank at home 3ft long, 1ft lenth and 1 ft high wondering it that ok for a corn(1) all its life???? and what gallon would that be?? badly need that answered..
According to this "volume calculator" website which I found doing a google search for you: http://fish.orbust.net/convert.html
you have an approximate 16 gallon tank (could be 20 since they make allowances for gravel and such.
There are many threads on this forum asking if 20 gallons is big enough...the general consensus appears to be "yes", particularly for young snakes and normal size adults (although some material I've seen recommend larger for adults). Do a search on this forum and you'll see plenty of responses. You will also likely see some tips on how to clean an old tank properly in prep for a snake.
Pretty cool viv Mr. Lee has there. I don't have the room for anything that big! It would be my whole room practically.....small house. I've got to find room for two more snakes soon.....need a bigger house!
