Well they *will* eat lots of things in the wild if thats what your asking.....anoles, other small lizards are a large part of their wild diet I believe. Also wild small rodents.
The reason we don't fed them lizards in captivity is because there is a high chance of transfering parasites, lizards aren't as easy to obtain as mice, and mice can be easily bred. Another reason lizards are just given as a "treat" is because if you fed your corn one, it just might like it so much it won't eat mice anymore which can be a large problem.
