Hello to all...

My name is Austin, I'm from Nashville, TN, I'm 22 and saying hey to all. Just got my second snake I have a 12 year old royal/ball python named Damien and he has been my boy for a long time I've had him since he was a yearling. I just got a albino aztec zig zag, it's name is Ali. I don't know the sex yet but I would like to get it sexed and know what it is soon. My girlfriend is on the forums as well, her name is MillysLaya her name is Emily. She owns a normal Hypo named Ziggy. We both think we are hooked on corns. Just wanted to say hello to everyone, now introducing Ali. The First two pics are of just Ali. The second is of Ali and Ziggy in a cardboard tube together. I love my litte it:nyah:

Welcome Austin! I don't see much Aztec or zig-zaggy about Ali, but it sure is an amel. And if you house those two snakes together, expect some crap from the members here! LOL. ;)
 
Damien, the ball is housed completely seperately from the corns. The two corns are currently living together but Ali will soon have his own viv.

You didnt see much "zig-zaggy" about Ali probably because he wont sit still and its more in his tail. He is an albino aztec too. All I know is what he was sold as though.
 
Hi there and welcome! if you only think your stuck on corns, you will know for sure shortly, they are ADDICTING!!!

As for Ali's pattern, I would have to agree Roy. Looks like a beautiful Amelenistic (red albino) corn snake. Sometimes "breeders" don't know what they have, not because it's hard to tell, but because they don't know much about corn morphs. May I ask how much you purchased him for?

Also, since you are new to corn snakes, I HIGHLY recommend the "Corn Snake Comprehensive Owners Guide" by Kathy and Billy love. here is a link

yeah, I just got him cause he was different. I liked how he has stripes down his neck and dots on his head, he gets ziggish about 3/4 of the way down his body. I'm really interested in what he'll look like in progression as he gets older. Thanks for all the great help. I got him today for $50. I think it was reasonable, he has some good personality and strength already.
 
welcome aboard , dont believe the snack part :p when i handle both my corn and ball the corn is hyper and moves allover the ball , the ball is like "hey what the... the snake must be super hyper" lol. but she never attack him or anything. tough she tried to attack my new german shepherd yesterday! what was she thinking!! O_O
 
Wow...I could just see Damien tryin to attack a dog, lol, that would never happen. He's never so much as even hinted at being upset or angry so I don't see him trying to bite anything but is food ever. He's pretty awesome, he likes to curl around my foot and watch me play xbox. He's a great guy that I wish I could breed but I don't think thats gonna happen any time soon. I'll try to post some pics of him soon.
 
I'm happy to announce that me and my girlfriend placed Ali into her new home last night. She has a nice 10 gal. viv, she is sooo happy in her new place and has already (very quickly) found her cardboard tube. She seems really happy and warm. It's sittin at 82-85 on the warm side and 70-75 on the cool side. She likes to curl up inside her tube and chill. She seems happy, and I can't wait to feed her later this week. Ziggy is in his viv alone now. I had to cohab them for just a short time, 2 days to be exact, because I didn't have access to the extra ten gallon that I had. But now I do have it and she has her own place and seems to love it. Just wanted to give and update, so there you go... Me and my girlfriend are planning on keeping a progression level thread to keep up with their changing colors and patterns, and size. More updates will be posted there.

yeah my ball is the relax type of snake like most balls too and is always sitting on me sometimes even in the bed with me and my gf lol but i think when they see something with fur and they're in hunting mode, well , they progress with the hunting lol. or just was over protectev from the dug trying to sniff her too much sudden movements tough i heard many time of snakes trying to figure out how to eat something loads of larger then them lol.

good thing they have seperat homes mate, im willing to watch your thread too! good like dude. :D
