When is the best time of year to go to a herp show?

I live in Michigan and it looks like there is a herp show every month (Michigan Reptile Show, Taylor,MI) I live a few hours away and I do not plan on going there very often. I am just wondering when would be the best time of year when they will most likely have the largest selection?

Also has anyone been to this show and do you feel it is a good show or should I plan on going father away?

My opinion the best time to go would be around late may through july and sept -oct thats approx. when first and second clutches hatch so you choices of hatchling should be good
