when?

Hi
I have a very active 1 yr old corn. I havent had her long and am clueless to what normal behaviour is .
When opening the tank to get her out she kinda does a " wall of death " to escape being caught which im taking as normal for a young snake , but once held is absolutley fine.
I see clips/pics of corns gently moving over peoples hands and being quite slow and inquisitive . mine is a little like trying to hold an eel .
is this calmness just something that comes over time?
also she seems more comfortable with me than any one else , should i let others handle lots too ?

The "Wall of death" in the viv, as you put it, is understandable really, considering. You're way bigger than her, she's bound to be a bit nervous. To my knowladge most small corns would do that, especially if they have fairly recently moved to a new home.

My girl calms down when she's in my hands though. Maybe your's is just livley? :shrugs:

Welcome to the forum. :) Most corns calm down as you acclimate them to handling. Some do not. But snakes are low-endurance creatures. Even my feistiest can only keep up a good thrash-fest for 10-15 minutes. Just make sure your handling sessions only end after the snake has given up. It's kind of like breaking a limbless horse. :grin01:
