I have a few corns that are average, a few that are small, and a few that are large (I suddenly feel like I'm in a fairy-tale...) but I'm curious mostly about the BIG ones....

So.. please post how BIG is your BIGGEST corn?

I have one corn that is substantially larger than all my others. Her name is Ruby, and she tips the scale at 848 grams, and measures ~56 inches in length.

Here's the pic I used to measure her - the spine of the book measures 8.5 inches...

i actually have caught and owned a cornsnake that was 72" inches in length, she was huge :p and bit me quite a few times, she even left a tooth in me :D and tried to bite my face,so i set her free,i wonder what the largest and oldest cornsnake was? any ideas?

My biggest is just over four feet. But he's still young, and promises to grow a lot more. :) In fact, he's offering to get started right away if I feed him another plump weanling rat...

biggest corn

I had one once that measured 72 inches. I know of a fellow who has caught them over that. (I forgot his name but I have a female that descended from one of the giants) I will think of it later and get it on here.
He breeds giant okeetees from the actual county (Jasper) in South Carolina that they originated from .... I think it was the name of a local sporting club. Its noted in many books. I think the actual national record for the spp. is 72 in. but they do once in awhile exceed that apparently.
