Who says BP's don't like f/t? :P (Video)

I took video tonight when I fed Fidel, though I missed him trying to strike through one of the holes in the top of the lid while I was thawing his dinner. Scared the crap out of me! I think I let out a bit of a yelp acutally, lol. I'm quite proud of his feeding response though, so I thought I'd share!

At his last weigh in he was 617 grams, and the total weight of his dinner (3 adult mice) tonight was 70 grams, within the 10-15% of body weight suggested for feeding BP's.

Anywho, here is my video, I apologize for my subpar videographer skills... I only have two hands! But got it figured out for the most part by the end.

Thanks for watching!

Great feeding response! ~Thump~ and he thinks they are alive & need to be constricted before eating. Love it.

Yes he does! :) He was wrapped around the first one for about five minutes before he decided that it was in fact, dead. I'm just happy to see him eating f/t after being fed live. I think he just appreciates getting appropriately sized meals regularly instead of one or two live mice once a month. His feeding response rocks so far! I hope he keeps it up but I won't be surprised if he goes off feed after a while.

That is so neat, all I have are corns, they are all fed on f/t but they are the mosey up to the mouse, smell it for a minute, then slowly start eating it. Watching him strike and constrict was really interesting for me, thanks for sharing!

His feeding response has made me jump just about every time so far, lol. Both my corns strike and coil their meals, but neither of them really tear the mouse out of the tongs like he does!
