Well Iv'e got a Carolina, which is normal and an amel both are very docile. There are absolutely load's of variation's in colour and pattern. As for agressiveness I don't know if one variation is worse than the other or not but you can get some feisty one's in any of them. Have a look in the photo gallery, there are quite a few there.
There are loads of different types to choose from. All are docile and ideal first snakes. Why not look through the photo gallery section or check out a breeders web site. Another source is "The Cornsnake Manuel". That has loads of pictures of different morphs.
Most varieties are very non-aggressive.

A mean cornsnake is an uncommon thing.
No difference in them really, just preference.
As for the aggressivness of different phases. I did read that there were very minor differences in personality between them that were consistant but i don't believe aggression was varible in corns.
