So I just got my boy on Monday and so far he's settling in well... I did handle him a bit much on the first two days but now he seems to have settled nicely and is enjoying his habitat.
The room and table his tank rests on is my study table and I cleaned out the room with hopes of moving my pedal steel guitar in there as well. There's a fair bit of space and it'd be on the other side of the room, but I was wondering if the sound of me practising would bother my snake. I keep the amp relatively low and it's certainly now a blaringly loud instrument, and I could also turn the amp off entirely for the first while, but I was wondering if it would stress him out regardless. I don't know how pronounced snake hearing is in comparison to humans and he is still getting used to his new home.
Do you think I should wait before moving it up, or would it be best if I didn't even move it up there at all? I love the idea of being able to practise while chilling out in his room but not if he's going to be uncomfortable. Any and all input would be great, thanks!
