I moved one of my snakes up to a fuzzy and a pinkie, and the other one just took her first real fuzzy, (the other one was like a pinkie, with the slightest amount of fur, like a peach fuzzy.

hey darkstar

i was wondering have you tried killing the mouse first?? or are you already doing it?? because i accidentally got my corn eating f/t. i went to stun the mouse and actually killed it, i was real mad thinking my snake is not going to even touch the first meal i fed it, but it gobbled it right up, next time i actually gave her a f/t fuzzy, she took that no problem at all. sorta gross but i did stab the f/t in the head and it didnt take long for hunter to gobble that one up!!

yea I've only fed them frozen/thawed, the one that takes a fuzzy and a pinkie (which could and should take two fuzzys) is a hole year and 7 months old. I know that most peoples snakes that are this old are eating like full grown mice, or at least like 2 hoppers, but mine was underfed when I got her, so I pretty much had to bring it back up from being really small. I got it at a year old, and it was one one pinkie! so since the last 7 months, I've moved it up to a bout two fuzzys, so at least she's progressing now. now the other one I just got in december, is only 8 months old, and she eats a fuzzy, and could be taking a pinkie with it.

good work on getting the1 year 7 month old to eat activley. if she was underfed she might be a bit stunted but if she is eating, she should catch up, her metabolism is probably a bit slower now or faster or whatever it does lol. i have a beardie that was crazily underfed, i brought him back he eats like a pig now, now he is abit shorter than he would have been but perfectly healthy... how about that pic??? i am curious to see the charcol.
