Huh? Anywayyyyy.......those are beautiful babies! If I had room,I'd consider one in a heart beat! You shouldn't have any problem finding a home for them!

Thanks, everyone.

Oh I love that pattern!! How is zag passed on? If you breed a normal to a zag, will the offspring be her zag?

This pattern is just a selective bred look that combines/enhances (IMO) the zagtec and zigzag patterns...and extends it to cover more and more of the snakes patterns. With that said, it is NOT a simple recessive trait like albino or motley. If you bred 2 normals tog=ether, you MIGHT get some awesome ones, but the chances are against it...unless both came from my line. Breeding two perfect ones together from my line means you pretty much get a couple normals, some great ones, and everything else in between. Outcrossing them (meaning breeding them to an unrelated animals with or without a similar pattern) often gives you mostly normals (some may show this pattern) that can be gotten back in later generations.

To put it simply, it is not simple recessive (not at all), but breed it as if it were and you'll usually see some decent results once a little selective breeding is thrown in, too. That makes some kinda sense?

KJUN, will you be having any other colors available in this pattern? Like, snows or charcoals?

I've got a couple classic ones with that pattern, and I MIGHT have a charcoal (but not a "perfect" one unless you want a male) left. I'd have to triple check on that before I said anything for sure. I have some pre-sold already. I'm pretty out of snows and anerythristics already. Albinos have always been the most popular, so I really concentrate on those in my colony.

Thanks,
KJ
