I was suprised to find a few hatchlings with a banded type pattern, both parents have normal patterns. This one was especially cool, it made me think of a zebra. This is the first year the parents bred. They were sold to me as double hets for snow, but this hatchling has no yellow on its neck. Is it possible that it is a charcoal instead of anery?

that is very cool looking! I would say he's an anery because there is such a contrast between saddle color and ground color. Normally charcoals have more of a grey ground color, and are kind of blue tinted at hatching. The yellow normally doesn't come in until after they grow up a little (anywhere from a few months to a year) That little guy is beautiful! Very unique looking! :0
 
Wow...those are some amazing bands! Its still possible for yellow to show up after a few sheds. I'm not saying that it WILL, but that its still possible.
