I'm actually recreating the burmese python study for one of my school projects. Using my own set of criteria, early results show that burms probably won't make it out of the deep south...if out of FL at all. Gotta love science!
I would've met you in Caburrus Arena at Charlotte show, but I had chance to checked your snakes out...I didn't have time to meet bill there.
It would be honor to meet you though.
Hope you had a great time visiting Cali, was really nice seeing you again! Hopefullynext time we can set something up a little earlier so I can show you guys around some! Stephen
Hello Kathy, I just wanted to stop by and say a huge thank you for taking the time to talk to me on the phone, after the dinner in Daytona! I apologise for being a bit starstruck and tongue tied once I found out who I was talking to, but I want to say, you made my day, no my month, oh lets just say you made my year!!!! I really appreciate it!
Take care and best wishes, Sue xxx (across the pond in the UK)
"I just got a new kitten a month ago..." Awesome post! I wanted to give you reps for it but it wouldn't let me, heh. Saw your hubby at the reptile show in Pensacola, FL, (in July I think), I had asked him where you were, I was thinking I'd get to meet you in person there but he said you stayed home to take care of all the critters. Wish I could go to Daytona but it's definitely too far esp with two small children and on top of that hubby will be out of town.
How do I get my normal corn snake to eat, it has been 34 days no food and I tried every thing (washing, slitting brain, dark container over night with f/t pinkey, live fuzzy mouse) she is starting to get thin, I am trying to turn down the temps in her cage but no luck the cool end is 80 degrees F (it doesn't help that my bed room is freakin hot). Can I put her in my basement and really turn down the temps to slow down her metabolism, or is that a not so good idea.
I love pituophis they are amazing! Jasmine has issues with other people coming into my room. I guess that too much movement ticks her off
Nothing much. I just cleaned the king rat snake's (jasmine) cage. She is getting a 40 breeder soon!
    Hi Kathy,
I wanted to let you know that those two clutches I feared I cooked, turned out to have a 100% hatch rate. No kinks, and the Amel x Butter even gave me a set of twins!!
    Thanks,
    Mel
Hi Kathy! I guess I picked Daytona because of family. I have 2 brothers in that area. One in Port Orange & the other in Daytona. I work in a pet supply store now but would like a shop with reptiles. Gonna be a big move for me. I have more family here in N.England than there. But ready for some change in my life. Every time I have been to Florida I just feel so peaceful & relaxed while there. I like the slower pace I guess that I feel. Would love to be in and area with other herpers but have to have it be horse community too lol.
Thanks for taking and interest & you never now. My next visit before moving is in August for 2 weeks. Will keep you posted. Thanks again & sorry for the book.
