Tessera Club!! Post Yours Too!!

Went to Daytona - couldn't come home empty handed (again).
Ended up with these two beauties from Rich Hume.
Petra - Ultramel Anery Tessera
Cayde - appears to be a Caramel Bloodred Tessera

Katie!! Welcome back!!
Very pretty pickups!
Thanks! I pop in every now and then. Haven't been breeding the last few years and my collection has been slimmed down to 18 now (including these latest pick ups).
Things are primed to be looking better heading in to next year - so we will see what happens.

That's great to hear! :)

Wow! Who produced him and what pairing is he from?
I don't know the guys name, I picked him up at a show. All I know is he's het amel and came from a clutch that had other odd tesseras. I worried he wasn't pure, but have since been assured that he is by Don S. Apparently this expression is rare, but has happened before in the tessera gene pool . I will be breeding him to a tessera female and non tesseras in 2018 to see how his genetics work alone and with a more standard tessera expression

I won't add all 16 of my Tessera holdbacks, but I will post some of my favorites from my 2015 Miami Tessera X Miami Tessera clutch. :)

Jet (KAI-05F)
Obsidian (KAI-11M)
Ametrite (KAI-13F)
Tanzanite (KAI-15M)
Citrine (KAI-18F)

These pics are about a month old.

He's stunning! Put me down for one of his babies! I think one like him would work great in my Miami Tessera projects! :)

I actually had someone speculate that he is a Miami tessera, but the breeder never alluded to that. I will be very excited to see his babies and will be sharing the results

Obsidian and amatrite look very similar to my Damon!

I like the variety I got in this clutch. The sire is lighter, like the last two.
This clutch is 2nd generation Miami Tessera.

Beautiful ones.. so my little masque pewter is getting more funny in her expressions, I can't wait to see when she is growing older...
