These are the six possible genotypes:
A+·A+ = Normal
A+·aa = Normal het amel
A+·au = Normal het ultra
aa·aa = Amelanistic
aa·au = Ultramel
au·au = Ultra
What genotype is het for ultramel? None.
What genotype is amelanistic but het for ultramel? None.
What genotype is ultra but het for amelanistic? None.
you should put together a chart just for the ultras(if you havent already, LOL) I must admit I am still somewhat confused. What would be helpful is if you had a chart just for them. Like Ultramel X amel=X,Y and Z. I know what you're thinking.......YEESH, these guys think this stuff is easy. LOL.
