Whoa toad...

dogsNdragons

and Corns, OH MY!
... or toad woes !?!?

I stepped out into the garage and was startled to find a 6-7 inch long Bufo marinus starting back at me.

I tried to catch it but it went under the car. Later when I went to leave, I opened the garage door and found the toad in the corner by the track. Again I tried to catch the sucker but it hopped under a pile of stuff. So far it is still in my garage.

I am on a toad hunting mission. :fullauto:
Just what I need if for one of my dogs to get hold of this guy.

Last year I found and disposed of two. Just when I thought had safely moved away from this invaders (used to live in Dade Co, FL), they followed.

Part 2

Well, the toad is still in my garage.
I tried to catch it again yesterday but it managed to cram itself into the area between the track and the wall. I couldn't reach with my hand so I tried to move it with a piece of PVC pipe. I almost had it herded into a plasitic container but it managed to squeeze behind a piece of plywood and get away again. :headbang:
