I just went and checked my email. Late last night I got an email from a lady named Laurie who was writing to tell me that Maureen Kelley, the lady who bred my beautiful Golden Retriever boy, Riley, passed away on Saturday. She was not by any means old, and it is shocking to think that I'll no longer be able to send her photo update of my boy. I feel bad that I have not sent any in some time and now I will not be able to. It's just so sudden and shocking. :(
 
So sorry for the loss of your friend, Lauren. Life is precious and fragile.
 
It is just so shocking and I really do feel guilty for not sending more regular updates.

They are asking for donations to the local Golden rescue in lieu of flowers. I am going to talk to Tara and see if we can afford to send something in her name.
 
Maybe you could post a pic of Riley in this thread and dedicate it to her as a remembrance and a celebration that what she did with her life and her dogs lives on through the joy that Riley brings you.
