Fed Ex shipping ?

And nothing is wrong with that David and no one is saying they or you are being unprofessional. I get that others on other forum say they are but it is not happening here.

Ok again I am sorry I just don't see what was bothering you to leave the comment you did.

The comment below is completely unrelated to my previous point and in no way directed directly at Carinata.

TBH I may think that the insurance at SYR is neat. I don't think it really does anything for animals that die because according to their website.
ShipYourReptiles Insurance covers the cost of your shipment if it's delivered late, and it covers the value of the animal if it's delivered late and dead.
So if an animal dies but the package wasn't late then it does you no good. You almost have to hope that if an animal was dead that the package was a couple minutes late. Which is not providing anymore assurance than I do. So I don't think that using SYR offers anymore benefit to customers.

That's good to know, I'm thinking about breeding by guys but it's not worth the effort to get Fed Ex certified for what I ""have"" but that would save ME if need be!!

Thanks

Oh yeah I think SYR is a great alternative for those that are going to ship just a handful snakes and like stated those who's rates are actually higher than SYR. Every once and a while I compare the rate FedEx gives me against SYR to make sure I am still getting the cheaper rate.

Well that's mainly why I THOUGHT SYR was formed. For us ""little guys"

And just using common sense, it better to leave out a middle man.
Cost is less and better chance of not have a mixup!!

I get a cheaper rate with my FedEx account aswell. But on big orders/expensive animals I feel safer just getting some insurance on it. I know I'm sending out healthy animals, so I don't worry about it showing up on time dead, I worry about it showing up dead 2 or 3 days late.......

Like I said many very reputable breeders use SYR, because it's very easy and their customers are covering shipping anyway.....

What kind of mix up? Both go directly through FedEx. I've actually found if I have an issue, calling SYR is easier than calling FedEx. With FedEx, there's so many more people to go through and you spend so much time holding. I call SYR, I get results instantly.
