Congrats on your new snake! He's beautiful! I just got my first snake yesterday...I don't know how to transfer the pics from my phone to here yet, so I don't have any pics yet but I know how you feel! I'm in love with her too! Does yours seem to burrough in its substrate though? I almost had a heart attack this morning when I couldn't find her!!!! She had crawled under all the bedding...I took her out and held her for a while, and then put her back and now I can't find her again, so I guess she's burroughed again. That's normal for a corn snake right?? She has three plants, two hide boxes and a little piece of wood...yestetrday she went into the hide box, but today she seems to prefer to just burrough. Is it stressful if I seek her out to hold her again or should I leave her alone?

Yes it is normal for snakes to burrow in the substrate, if you only got her yesterday it's probably best you leave her alone for a week with no handling. They are very addictive but you have to let them settle in.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice to not handle her for a week...but how will I feed her this week? Should I skip this week? The breeder I bought her from said she's been eating Monday/Tuesday so I was going to feed her this Tuesday in a feeding box, but thta would mean I'd have to handle her to put her in the box. Should I do this or just leave her alone and skip a week?

Super jealous. Those creamsicles are gorgeous can't wait for mine. He looks like he will be very happy in his very nice new home. Keep us posted with pics and updates

I'm planning to order mine the first or as soon as the VA gives me my money. I just love the cramsicles and am planning on getting one of those and a caramel motley.

A nice candy cane will be in collection one day. That is one that will take time right amount of searching for the perfect one I suspect
