So I got a corn snake yesterday and this if my first snake I own. I have another snake that's a ball python but when we got him, I was still very young and my stepfather took care and I wasn't allowed to so I'm learning to take care of him with the help of my friend and you guys. :)
Dexter is a albino corn snake and he is only 5 months old. My friends and I went to a reptile expo yesterday and caved in to all the beautiful reptiles and bought one. My friend Alex picked him out, paid for him, and named him, but she can't keep him at her house so Brandon gave me a tank and all the other supplies and I keep him at my house. So I will be the main caretaker and I would love to have tips about how to care for him.

Thank you! The amels are quite beautiful and brightly colored so they stand out more amongst other snakes. But I hope to get a ghost corn as my next one within the next few years.

Ghosts are cool, but I wish they stayed pinkish.

Make sure to check out the care sheet on corns, if you haven't already. It's super helpful! I hope you had your vive all set up with the proper equipment (just makes things easier for you and your new pet) :)
Welcome, and congrats.

She can git a little distracted so I thought I would post an update for her.

Friday Dexter ate for the first time in her care. He has been a little nervis but that's expected since he is only 5 months.
