Time to size up?

I thought it might be time to upsize so I bought some fuzzies. I place a frozen one next to my little guy and it looks really big. Now Im not so sure. He has been eating double pinks for 3 feedings now. What do you guys think?

Do you have a weight on your snake and the fuzzy? It looks maybe a tad big, and 3 feeds of double pinks doesn't sound like many.

I will be doubling up on mine until I run out probably as I bought 100, I don't think it will hurt. 4g is the right size for the weight of the snake according to the Munson chart, but they also say something like 1 1/2 size of the snake at it's biggest area of girth, hope I said that right. :uhoh:

An update!!

Went back to the petstore and they were out of pinkies so i cane home, cut a fuzzy in half lengthwise and gave it to him in the 2 pieces (warm mice guts smell awful!!!)
It looked like he was having difficulty getting it down but he took both pieces. His little belly was huge after so i let him crawl out of his feeding container on his own by placing the small tupperware in his viv and removing it after.

I checked on him today and no regurge but his belly is still big so i left him alone.

Is this good practice and something I can continue or should i go buy some pinkies when they buy some available again? He was eating double pinks before.

Thanks Jenn. I completely agree. I should be an absolute last resort. Sadly, it did get to that point. My issue is that I want to get my guy to start feeding on his own.

For the record, I'm very careful and throughout the last 3 months I'm very efficient at it. I'm quick and the stress to the snake is minimal...As minimal as it gets, anyway.

Any input from advanced keepers? He kept it down and is looking pretty good although i think he is in the beginning of blue again
