I feed him every 5 days. He didn't grow much on 2 gram pinkies, which is what I could get at my local pet store. He's been on 3 gram pinkies and next feeding will be his first fuzzy (I'll be weighing the fuzzies to pick out the smallest). He has doubled in weight since I got him.

I finally got a length on him with this picture last night using:

I went to handle Dolly tonight and he was just sitting on top of his favorite vine. Have I said how much I love this little guy lately? He is the best little snakey! 33 grams and growing like a weed on fuzzies.

Dolly got to explore my bed today. I got this blanket with him in mind. I have a white comforter and thought this cute little throw would be easier to wash, just in case. It's kind of color coordinated :).

I think he's the sweetest little guy. Not so little any more, though. He weighed 44 grams before his last feeding, and at his current growth rate that means he probably weighs 47 grams now. I see that his head is taking on a more adult shape and he has lost the baby look.

I'm sure. Apparently he suffers from gigantism. 31 days old, 14g(after poop finally), and 16" long.
 
Lol, Haight. Not really. If when he's an adult, he's 7 feet long then I'll say he's giant. ;)

Being a male, I doubt that possibility (besides the fact that it would shatter the record). Info hope that he breaks 4ft though.

How fast they grow up. Dolly weighed in at 49 grams tonight and constricted his frozen thawed mouse for the first time. This was his first 7 gram fuzzy up from 5 grams. He's struck before, but never coiled. He really hung on for a while. Then while still coiled he released his mouth, sniffed the mouse, bit the nose and started swallowing. He handled this bigger mouse like a champ.

It is so amazing to see nature at work. Mom's definitely proud of her young snake.
 
Cool pic of Dolly 'constricting'! I think it's funny how they think they're really doing something. Just natural for them I suppose!
