Hello all this may be a dumb question but i dont no it lol. Ive seen alot people saying "viv", what exactly is a viv? thank you

short for "vivarium." From Wikipedia - A vivarium (plural: vivariums or vivaria) is an area, usually enclosed, for keeping and raising animals or plants for observation or research.
Basically a different way to say, "cage" or "enclosure." I suppose one could argue the differences between a viv vs a terrarium or some other term.

For me, it's just easiest to type those three letters as opposed to some of the other terms. I actually had to look it up one day too as I didn't know what the term meant since here is the first place I had ever seen it.
