Give your baby + adult Okeetee pics!

Hatchling
Hello, I got this idea from a different thread about "identifying a baby Okeetee." I am also interested in getting a very vibrant Okeetee.

So, I was wondering if you guys could help...

Basically, if you have an Okeetee, post up two pictures... One of a hatchling/young version of the Okeetee and the second of an older version of your Okeetee...

It doesn't matter if your Okeetee is vibrant or not.. I just want to be able to learn and compare what to look for in a hatchling/young Okeetee to have a better chance to get the 'color' that I want.

Thanks a bunch! :licklips::duck:

I always figured okeetees were different animals, and I went away from the topics.
now I feel like an idiot

Well, mine is an 07, but it shows the change in just under a year.

When I bought him (MegF's photo):

Dang! That IS a big change! Very nice!

Thanks man! I think the color change has by far got to be the coolest part about these snakes. I'm going crazy waiting for that next shed to come around, just to see how different she looks! :crazy02:

I got Nellie as an okeetee phase. I love her thick borders but I don't think she's going to develop the really vibrant colouring I wanted.

I know what you mean, I've seen a lot of Okeetees that have more of a brownish background instead of orange or yellow. That's actually the reason I bought an Abbott's Okeetee cause from the photos I've seen, I got the impression that buying one of those would yield a better chance that I'd get one with vibrant colors plus I like the really thick black borders which seemed to be thicker in the Abbott's line. I didn't know about Kathy Love's Okeetees at the time, but since I've been on here I've seen some really beautiful Okeetees from her as well. What sold me was the photo that Don has on his website of an Abbott's Okeetee. I compared the photo of the Abbott's Okeetee to the photo of the regular Okeetee and the photo he has of the Abbott's shows WAY more vibrant colors and color contrast with much thicker black borders than the regular Okeetee. So anyway, I'm hoping my little Flash gets the coloring I am wanting.

lol, yeah, she's a pretty gal, isn't she? :eek:

That's alright, she's very pretty as well, even if she isn't as 'vibrant' as some of the other ones :eek: ... eh, I like them all... but sadly, I can't have them all :cry:
