My New Mexican Black Kingsnake :)

Apparently jet black does not exist in the natural world, and what we see as black is actually very very very VERY dark brown... same with panthers, get them in the right light and they have that brown twinge to them! So i hear anyway!

Well, ok then. Dante and my female '06 are very, very, very dark brown. But my female '05 and male '06 are very, very, very, very, very, very dark brown. :grin01: ;)

He's gorgeous! I love the blue-ish sheen on his belly! Makes me shed a tear on behalf of my Cali. King that I released back into the wild, and since have become quite distant from.. I hope she's found the dark, little, nook that she's always dreamed of... :cry:
