all i have been feeding my sorn is f/t pinkys.. sometimes he eats em right up.. other times i have to wiggle it and get his atttention.. so i was wondering since he is still on pinkys, and pinkys dont really move much or have a good chance at hurting my snake, if it would be ok to feed likve pinkys?

I'm not really sure why you would want to feed your corn live, but from what I've heard, any mouse that has yet to open it's eyes for the first time is not going to attack the corn.

Start him on live pinkys and there is no guarantee that he'll go back to f/t when he needs fuzzies or hoppers or adults. Best to stay with the f/t as long as he's eating.

thats what i was worried about.. i dont know why he is starting to refuse f/t more now.. from what i knoe he has always been fed f/t. and i even cut the pinkys in the back and wiggle them around.. hopefully he will keep eating since i dont want to have to feed live fuzzies in the future..

I would agree with that. Best not to go to live unless you absolutely had to. I have a young snow who is very picky and refuses feedings fairly frequently, or will only eat one pink, when the other two her age, (and one half her size,) actully eat three at a time on a regular basis. She's growing (though much more slowly) but she's healthy. So, though she's my favorite, and I would like her to be as big as she can, I just deal with it, knowing she's healthy. I think you're probably going to have to do something similar, as well.

Sincerely,
Daneale

well im going to try and feed f/t again tomorrow since its feeding day. hopefully he will eat at least one pink.. he is curently on 2.. i dont want to have to move to live feedings since i have heard of and seen terrible outcomes!
