Absolute [insert appropriate word of your choice here] scumbags. Any kind of animal cruelty on this scale is horrifying.. and to make it worse they left the charred remains in the park for children to find the next morning.

What i wouldn't give to have 5 minutes alone in a locked room with scum like this.... There's something i've noticed about britains youth (you know, 'cause im old now :laugh01:) and that is the majority of them only understand you if you speak with your fists...
 
It's sickening to think of doing this to an animal. It is really scary to think what they will do next. I hope they are caught.
 
What is wrong with this small minority of British Youths that they seem to enjoy killing? be it a each other, a snake, or father of three? :confused::uhoh:

Poor, poor snake. Those responsible should be utterly ashamed and should be punished, although I strongly suspect they will get away with it as usual.

The trouble here in the UK is that we have a society of adults who are petrified of children.

I once rescued a grass snake from a group of youngsters who were amusing themselves by throwing rocks at it. It was in a busy park and nobody else was making a move.

When we have youngsters murdering others simply for looking different, or killing animals for 'fun', something is seriously amiss... :shrugs:

Speak for yourself mate! Last time some little tracksuit clad scraping of the gene pool tried started getting gobby with me, I warned him once then whacked him down in one. Not had any trouble since!

Wasn't inclusive of you or I ;) Just a general observation really, and I do think it is true. You can't defend yourself if you're attacked for fear of being done for assaulting a minor... :confused:
 
That's disgusting, and it brought me to tears. It sounds a bit like a Royal. People like that should be shot, or burnt alive to show them exactly how it feels. Humans truly are a sad, sad race.

Thats what happened to me 5 yrs ago...I ended up in the middle of a gang...All drinking and smoking...Hoods up being anonymous.....When the *leader* stood up and came at me (He was 6'+). I dropped him with a pearler...He went home crying to his mam and a dad. I spent many a happy hour in the local nick explaining to the local plod that he was going to kill me.(his mam and dad were teachers...White collars always stick together..LOL)...I only got off because he went on to commit lots of violent assaults, so the CPS couldn't put a case against me..

I truly share your disgust, but I believe that giving them a taste of their own medicine so to speak would make us no better than them.

Makes you wonder how these kids were raised and whether anything could have been done before it got to this.
 
This is horrible, I can't immagine why anyone would do that to an animal, I know I would be SUPER sad/mad if anything like that ever happened with Star, or jsut a wild snake.

Maybe if they felt the same pain that they cause to others then maybe they'd understand. What do these people contribute to society apart from pain and suffering. If I knew who they were I'd truly give them a taste of their own medicine. Maybe what I said was a little extreme, said in the heat of the moment, but even so, they should be severely punished.

Definately, well there's obviously ignorance and prejudice coming into play here. Some parents do their best but their kids still turn out bad, but as you said, usually it's a result of bad parenting.

Oh and I saw the new article, thanks. Although the picture was disturbing, at least I know what it is now.

I agree they should be severely punished, Dave. I don't agree that you can condemn violence, with violence. It doesn't really make sense. And I feel very strongly that I wouldn't be any better than the original perpetrator of the crime if I did the exact same thing to them that they did in the first place. Justice isn't the same thing as revenge.

Not trying to be arguementative, by the way - we all have our opinions. Just throwing in my 2 pennyworth. :cheers:

I know you wouldn't be violent to anyone yourself. Sorry if that's how I came across. I was just speaking in general terms. It's nice to see someone feel strongly about those who would deliberately hurt an innocent creature.
