Eastern Box Turtle

I was just wondering, does anyone see these anymore? When I was younger they seemed to be quite common, but now maybe I am just less active but I rarely see them. So just curious does anyone seem them a good bit anymore?

oh yes i see literally hundreds of them on my way to work everytime it rains we live next to a creek in ky and everytime it rains they cover the road

Box turtles here in south jersey are decreasing in numbers in my opinion. I rarely see them, ok I never see them. Last one I found was 5 years ago and was injured and now lives with me. And someone just gave me one they found in their yard, which I think was someones pet because he had a severe respiratory infection and his eyes were filled with puss and wouldn't open. But with some meds from the vet he's much better. Other then that I haven't seen any.
