corn snake noob!
I checked out a local petco to see the snakes, I've
I never planned to buy a corn from them, but when I looked at their corn snakes I felt bad.
They had a bunch of babies all couped up in a 10g with no hides so they were crowding underneath their water dish.
I asked if I could hold them and this was my first time holding a baby corn, or reallly, any snake at all.
When I reached in, a baby normal and a baby okeet started striking at me and I felt a small tag for the first time, it was cool!
The snakes seemed healthy, and a baby amel caught my attention. It had more red than the other baby amel in the tank, and it was the first baby I picked up.
It was calm, but active and alert. My heart sank and I said "I'll take it!"
Anyways, here is my yet to be named baby amel
I didn't want to stress it too much so I took two photos only.
It hid right away under the aspen. After an hour, it came out and climbed the wood/plant decor and hid in the leaves:
Just now it came out of hiding and is exploring the 40g tank, I will be getting more decor tomorrow.
