Designing a new tank.

I've got a great idea for a new tank design, but I can't seem to find all the right parts I'll need. I'll be getting a 20 gal tall, hexagon tank. Water, UTH and some hides will be at the bottom, along with a large, tall tree. Closer to the top of the tree will be a platform, a second level that will include more hides, etc. I'll have to make the platform myself, and that won't be hard, I'm good with wood. I just can't seem to find a decent-sized decorative tree. I'm talking big a thick. Everywhere I look doesn't seem to have anything over 11 inches tall, though.
Does anyone know where I can find some great decorative (plastic) trees, hopefully of the extra-large veriety?

I really dont know much about tanks but that sounds like a really cool idea! :D
I dont know about the trees though, sorry :[

I faced a similar dilemma, went down to the river and found a wonderful, gnarled giant tree root. Scrubbed with a mild bleach solution, and rinsed and sundried a few times, and my Lulu loves it. Stetches diagonally from the bottom of one corner to the top of the other. Drilled some holes and hotglued some faux greenery in as well. Cheap and looks fine!

maybe some chinese lucky bamboo? they dont grow fast, and all you have to do is put it in a cup of water, change the water when you clean the tank. if you put marbles in the glass with the water, the bamboo wont move when the snake tries to climb it. plus, the wood has good texture, so it should be easy for you snake to grip/ climb

If you have a craft store nearby, drop by and see what they have. Several of ours carry fake indoor plants like a ficus in several sizes, from 2' tall to 6' tall.
