So I am bound and determined to figure out how to use my hubby's Panasonic DMC-FZ30.. this session didn't go so great, but I learned a little bit.. and to think, I used to be a professional photographer.. I really don't know where my brain went since I had my daughter! Or talent.. or style.. or sanity.. oh well.. here's the rotten fruits of my labor ;)

My "Blue Diamond" Diamond (Amel) in the blue :grin01: Though her color isn't quite right.. I picked her out because she caught my eye in the $15 tank at the reptile show this last weekend... my Diamond in the rough ;) Sorta pale for an amel.. :shrugs:

Nice pictures. and nice looking snakes :)
That blizzard's a cute one.

Thanks :) Hopefully I'll get better with the camera and get some true to life colors and nice closeups... I was looking at the Steve thread and I was wondering, what brand of camera do you use?

Also, I couldn't resist taking some Amel comp. pics.. the variation is amazing.. granted, Diamond is still a little bluish, but I can't help but wonder what she's going to look like when she's older.. to be honest, I'm not a big fan of amels.. but like I said, she just called to me  Diamond looks a lot more orangey in these pics than she does IRL.. she's actually a pastelish pink sort of color right now, most likely due to her blue-ness :)

Nice ones, Sarah!!! I really like your Blizzard... and have been tempted to purchase one... as usual! LOL. They all look good. I'm waiting with bated breath to see what becomes of your "diamond in the rough"!

Ah, I was looking around last night and randomly came across a post Rich made that had him say something to the effect of he doesn't know how many Reverse Oak's he's popped out that looked light and promising, but then later grew into their color... I'm guessing that's what she'll do, but she sure is purdy now ;) I'm going to test her for Hypo and Anery just for kicks in a few years though.. then at least I might have some nice tripple hets if I breed her to the ghost I'm getting from Sharon :)

Nice amels. I am excited to see how close or different they develop.

I'm interested in watching her, but the other girl is going to a friend's daughter for Christmas.. though the hubby does love her pattern, so things might change ;) we're keeping her brother though.. I'll try to get some comp pics of her with him, that way I can keep comparing them as they grow.. She shed today.. perfect shed, super fast.. one min she was hanging out with me, I put her back and checked on her about 10 min later and she was done.. poof! Still pink instead of red, still a little beauty, even for an amel ;) I'll get pics sometime soonish.

Very cute name of "Marge" for a butter....it has a lot better ring to it than land-o-lakes, heh?:grin01:

Lol, she was Parkay, but then I remembered why that name had stuck in my head.. someone else had used it o_O.. so I changed it to Marge, like Margerine, and now am going to name her boyfriend, when I get him, if ever, Homer.. :grin01: Which I think someone in the ACR had the Simpson's characters all used before too, but at least they're "names" and feel more like public domain to me.. lol Though I do give kudos to whoever it was that thought of it first, very nice taste ;)
