Abbott Okeetees 8-)

Dakota Corns
Finally was able to get a picture of these two at the same time. Usually one is in shed/blue while the other is smokin' hot. They were both wearing their finest yesterday so I had to take a shot . . . Well, let's just say I had the camera available so I was able to take pictures.

My jealous meter l----------l---------l
This is what I feel right now..l------------------l-l

They are really beautiful, I would love to be able to own one.

Thanks for ALL the positive comments. They really are amazing, and I got them from the Man himself. Kind of a weird deal actually. I've always admired the black bordered, high color Okeetees for a long time but never had the opportunity to snatch one up. Had a local guy that wanted an Okeetee for a pet. Well, what better way to get him a high quality animal than to get a pair for myself! Killed 2 birds with one stone. :) The rest is pictured above.

I really like the male's tail (he's the one in the blue bowl) and how there's no red in the saddles . . . just black!

just wondering, how old are they?
They are '07 animals and are NOT powerfed. ;)

Again, thanks for the compliments and thanks for takin' a peek.

are they on the munson plan by any chance?
Here was my original response that I chose to backspace out of:
They are '07 animals and are NOT powerfed, nor are they on the Munson plan, nor are they fed more often than 7 days apart . . . sometimes 10 days. They are on the D80 Plan!!

Guess I should have left it be! ;)

the D80 plan must be quite something to make them grow so fast.
Yeah, I'll be honest, I don't do anything special. My '07 snakes started off on 7 and 10 days apart (sometimes 14 depending) for appropriately sized meals. They've been on a solid every 7 days since they bumped up to fuzzies and/or hoppers. :shrugs: Nuttin' special and I'm not saying it's better than anything else. It's just working for me . . . whatever "it" is! :)

well whatever "it" is, i hope it rubs off on me, cuz my corn grows sooooo slow. or at least it seems like it to me lol
