I am so upset, I made my rounds to feed everyone today and when I got to my Cali King's bin I opened it up lifted up her hide, not there. No big deal she hides under the aspen a lot, searched through the aspen and she wasn't there. The room I keep them in is an absolute mess right now because I'm cleaning/moving things around in other rooms so she could be anywhere and I'm not sure how long she has been missing, it's been maybe 3 days since I last saw her out but she was just about to shed. Her shed was in the bin but she wasn't. I have been looking everywhere. I'm kind of afraid that maybe she fell in the rat cage and was eaten, also I have my Iguanas in that room and if she made it in with them they would have not problem eatting her either. I'm really cursing myself right now and I can't do much until tomorrow because I'm going to have to move a lot of stuff out of the room to try and find her. I hope I find her, I never wanted a Cali King but she caught my eye and I really loved her.

Wish me luck, I'm going to need it and if you have any tips feel free to share.

I'm very sorry to hear about your escape. I have no idea's to send your way, but I do wish you luck in finding her.

Check in warm, dark narrow areas... check all clothing piles, too, especially before you toss them into the laundry.

Tara has found some of her escapees, maybe 50%. I only ever lost one snake and she died as a result (got stuck to a sticky mouse trap, so if you have those PULL THEM UP!)

Did you figure out how she got it?
 
So sorry to hear about it, she's a pretty little thing!

My king actually escaped a couple weeks ago, I too did not realize he was gone until feeding day. I thought for sure he'd be dead- I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, and the room right beside mine has a vent with no cover on it. After about four days of kicking myself, my mom found him. He was under the jungle carpet python tank in out KITCHEN. (Made it out of my room, all the way down the hall, downstairs, down another hall, and into the kitchen, while avoiding 4 cats and 2 dogs)

Don't give up hope! As soon as Valik realized we knew where he was, he went into the back of the mini-fridge the carpet pythons are sitting on, and we had to take it apart before getting ahold of a quite angry little king snake. Check warm, dark places-- under/behind fridge, stove, etc.

Thanks, I have a bunch of clothes piled in there since I'm getting rid of some so I'm working on going through all that now.

She got out because the clip on the side of her bin popped off and she squeezed out.

Thanks Dean atleast that gave me a laugh. The closet was the first place I checked because I took everything out of the closet for cleaning so it was empty compared to the room lol.
 
Good luck. My Cali got out recently and turned up on the bathroom floor. Hubby didn't know he was out and was rather surprised to find him.

That's what I'm afraid of, my aunt is visiting and WILL die if she fines it and my mother will probably just kill me lol.

I searched every where in the room and I'm pretty sure she isn't in there. The door to that room is normally open because if it's shut it gets to hot so she could be anywhere.

Yikes! I hope she turns up fast! I'm REALLY lucky that my mother in law has a sense of humor about the snakes.
