Dante -- '06 Doberman Progression

He looks so sweet. When I was about 12 or 13, I went to go visit relatives back east. They lived in rural Pennsylvania, basically out in the sticks. They had 2 dobermans. A poor female with thyroid problems. She was SO fat. They were always trying to get her to lose weight buy adjusting her meds. Her name was Princess. And the male's name was B.A. I don't remember what the initials stood for. Anyway, he was the sweetest dog. He was an 80lb lap dog! Just a big funny dog. Those were the first and only dobermans I've ever been around.

Beautiful guy you've got there! And I love his floppy ear! He looks wonderful and is lucky he ended up in such a caring person's hands! I agree with you - it's awful the light breeds like the Doberman are shined in. Punish the Deed, Not the Breed, right?

Thank you! Y'all make me so proud to be Dante's owner. Dante probably gets treated better than I do, lol. As most of my animals do... He's pretty much the king, though, lol!

What a lovely boy, and what a great Dobie dad you are. I am a big fan of the big breeds, bullies, Rotties, Dobies and arctics. Most of them will act fierce at times but are just big lap loves.

Lol, thank you! I appreciate the comment. However, I'm a Dobie mom, not dad. xD I guess my custom user status and avatar are a bit confusing...

Rotterman Pinweiler/Rotterman/Dobweiler Pic

Here is a picture of Bear, I finally found it and was able to scan it onto my computer! He was a good looking dog... I miss him :( . He died well over 15 years ago of cancer. As kids, we used to ride on his back! LOL

Here is the Doberman on steriods :)

OH! Thank you for posting! He is beautiful! You can definitely see characteristics of both dogs. He's got the Dobie legs and kind-of Dobie face, just thicker throughout. And lulz! Horse dog! Yay!

And that's sad that he had to die of cancer. :[ I pray all the time that when the time comes (many years from now, hopefully!), my baby will just go peacefully in his sleep from old age...
