    Humidity

Just some thoughts on Humidity. A quick Google search just showed care sheets that say to keep your Corn enclosure between anywhere from 40-60% humidity on one site to 50-70% humidity on another - and others in between those numbers. Anyone who lives in Tennessee can attest that most of our...

    Normal or...?

Any idea what this little girl is? The red is more Candy Apple in the sunshine than I am used to seeing. Someone suggested possible Blood Red genetics, but I know nothing other than Normals and Okeetees. And if she is a "normal" form a breeding project, who knows what is swimming around in...

    Collection update

Been a while since I frequented this wonderful forum, so thought I would start back with a collection update vid. 2 Corns in here, so I hope it fits within the rules. My first Corn is from Don, and he is simply amazing. Then I go to a Corn I bought off another breeder, though I forget who it...

    T-8 Question

If you use Flexx for heating a T-8 (or any xpvc cage), how well does the heat radiate through the bottom xpvc panel? It would seem too thick to allow the heat to transfer. Thanks for the education!

Heat (and the things I read)

I see replies in threads constantly that say: "Anything over 86 degrees F can burn your (Corn, King, Rat) snake." May I ask why people believe this to be the case? I just probed my palm and it read 93.6 degrees F. My snakes are perfectly safe in my hand. They don't get "severely burned"...

    Market Prices (revisited)

It's no secret that the only Corns I like are Okeetees (but the Anery's that look like young Black Rat Snakes are pretty cool as well). So I am out of touch with morphs and such. But I do try to keep up with prices - it's just something else I enjoy doing even though I don't keep those snakes...

    Mice Direct Review

I ordered my first frozen online order this week from Mice Direct. Granted, shipping is a killer - and I used 3 day select ground. But for 100 pinks and 100 fuzzies at $80, that still only comes out to 40 cents per mouse. I can live with that. There was PLENTY of dry ice still in the box...
