After I spent an absurd amount of money on building the motor/tranny it still came down to a drivers race against mildly modded ls1 camaros. My car was an 04 gt and I loved it but started a sleeper project now, my pontiac GTP is putting down 315 to the wheels with a supercharged 3800. Bolt ons, heads and cams should put you in the 400 hp range, F body cars respond well to mods.

Hey trent, i have heard of the supermodifieds. I sometimes go to thompson and stafford springs speedways in CT but usually only when the supermodifieds are there. I mainly streetrace (in industrial parks after closing not on public roads) and occasionally go to new england dragway. My mustang ran 12.6@114mph on street tires and my bike (modded 04 ninja zx-10) ran 9.8 @ 154 mph last year. Big fun but even more expensive than my snakes..LOL
