    General question

    Everything I have read online so far is that cornsnakes are a pretty good beginner snake, relatively calm and easy to handle. Are there exceptions to that basic rule of thumb? I know with dogs, just because a certain breed is known to be a good family dog, there can still be a "bad apple" here...

    My boyfriend and I are thinking about getting a snake. We saw a cornsnake at a petstore so I offered to do some research for him.
