Goodbye Stewie!

With such great sadness I am posting here today to inform you that I had to say goodbye to my 16.5 year old Stewie last night.
Stewie who I had the privilege to care and love for so many years, had to be humanely euthanized because he (I still say he...long story) developed what I believe a stomach tumor that grew so big so fast I thought he was going to blow up. I feel guilty for not realizing it sooner because I thought she gravid again.

It was so hard to go through yet another euthanasia process and putting down another beloved pet, but it was the right thing to do.

I will miss her so much but I know that she is resting and no long in pain!
Thank you for all the years of help and guidance on this forum.

I'm so sorry for your loss. That is never easy.
Take comfort in knowing she had a wonderful life with you.

Thank you for your kind words.
She was my last pet left, yet the one I wanted the most since I was a kid, so it fel a bit more significant. I had already lost my 2 cats.
Now I am all alone and feel I can't do it all over again with anymore pets.
